Christie Wilson (MGT), is a clinical psychotherapist practicing in the Central Coast, NSW, Australia. She has over 25 years’ experience in the field of holistic counselling and complementary medicine; focusing her practice on supporting individuals to achieve increased emotional wellbeing through integrative therapy, group facilitation and educational site-based workshops.
Renowned for her dedicated, caring and grounded sessions and workshops, Christie emphasises health and healing rather than pathology and sickness and remains supportive of an integrative approach that combines traditional and evidence based-scientific models.
She strongly believes in supporting people to find their way through the sensitive and complex nature of stress physiology and its association with physical & mental exhaustion and spiritual/emotional challenges. Christie also believes that many people are suffering with disenfranchised grief/anxiety caused by climate change. Linked to a range of negative mental health impacts -- including depression, suicidal ideation, post-traumatic stress, as well as feelings of anger, hopelessness, distress, and despair.
